Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains how First Choice Mobile Notary & Apostille (“First Choice,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information through our website, our service-request landing pages, and our free forms library. It applies to visitors from anywhere in the United States and to clients in every state we serve.
Information we collect and how we use it
We collect only what we need to respond to you and arrange your service.
| Category | Examples | How we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Information you submit | Name, phone, email, city or appointment address, document category, preferred time, optional notes or facility name | To respond, quote services, and schedule your appointment |
| Website and device information | Pages visited, browser and device type, approximate location from IP address, referring page | To run the website, keep it secure, and understand how it is used |
| Advertising information | Google click ID, campaign parameters, ad clicks, form-submission and phone-click events | To measure which ads bring in requests (see Google advertising below) |
| Phone calls | Your phone number and call time when you call a tracking number shown on our site | To measure calls from ads and return missed calls |
Please do not submit completed legal documents, medical records, Social Security or other identification numbers, or other sensitive information through our website forms. Bring those documents to your appointment instead.
How we share information
We share your information only to provide the service you request, to run our website, or when the law requires it.
- Notaries. Your request may be shared with a notary commissioned in the state where the service will take place, such as California, Nevada, New York, or Florida, so they can contact you and complete the appointment.
- Witnesses. If you book witness service, your name and appointment details may be shared with the witnesses who attend.
- Form delivery. Our forms use Web3Forms to deliver your request and email notifications to our business. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Apostilles. If you order an apostille, your document and contact details are submitted to the state office that issues it.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information to comply with the law, a court order, or a government request, or to protect our rights and safety.
Submitting a form does not confirm an appointment.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell the information you submit through our forms, and we do not share it for purposes unrelated to arranging your requested service. Our use of advertising cookies is explained below, along with how to opt out.
Cookies and your consent
We use necessary cookies to run the website, and optional cookies only with your permission.
| Type | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keeps the site working and secure, and remembers your cookie choice | Always on |
| Analytics | Measures visits and page use (Google Analytics) so we can improve the site | Optional |
| Advertising | Measures ad results and conversions (Google Ads) and may help show relevant ads | Optional |
- Cookie banner. On your first visit to our main website, a banner lets you Accept All Cookies or Decline Optional Cookies. Declining does not affect how the site works.
- Changing your mind. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page.
- Landing pages. Our service-request landing pages do not show the banner, but they follow the same rules: they honor any choice you made on our main website, honor Global Privacy Control signals, and include the Cookie Settings and Your Privacy Choices links.
- Your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
Google advertising and measurement
We use the Google tag to measure advertising visits, successful form requests, and phone-link clicks, subject to your cookie choices.
- Google may use cookies and similar technologies, including to measure calls from ads.
- The personal details you type into our forms are not sent to Google.
- Embedded Google Maps and links to Google reviews are subject to Google’s own policies.
Tracking across websites. Google and other advertising and analytics providers may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website. You can limit this by declining optional cookies, using the Cookie Settings link, or visiting Google’s controls: Google privacy policy · Google advertising controls.
Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and your privacy choices
We honor Global Privacy Control signals; we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and turn off optional advertising cookies for that browser.
- Do Not Track. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to them, so our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can use GPC or our Cookie Settings instead.
- Your Privacy Choices. The Your Privacy Choices link in our footer lets you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. Your choice applies to the browser and device you use; if you clear your cookies or use another device, set it again.
Free PDF forms
We never see what you type into our downloadable forms.
Free form downloads are not gated by a contact form. When you fill in a downloaded PDF in your own PDF app, your answers stay on your device; our website does not upload or store them. We may measure downloads and related website activity, such as which form was downloaded, separately from the form’s contents and subject to your cookie choices.
Retention, security, and children
- How long we keep information. We keep request information only as long as needed to respond, provide services, and meet recordkeeping, tax, or legal obligations, then delete or securely dispose of it. Notary journal entries are kept as the notary’s state law requires.
- Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through our forms.
- Children. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
- Phone calls. We do not record phone calls.
Your requests, changes, and contact
Your requests. To ask what information we have about you, or to request a correction, deletion, or opt-out, email admin@firstchoicenotary.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We honor these requests from visitors in every state, and we will not treat you differently for making one. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to an appeal within the time your state’s law requires. Some information may need to be kept to meet recordkeeping or legal obligations, such as notary journal requirements.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the policy.
